NEW YORK (AP) - First baseman Greg Norton was scratched from the Atlanta Braves lineup Thursday night due to a stiff left shoulder.
Norton jammed his shoulder playing the field in the first inning of Atlanta's 6-3 loss to the New York Mets on Wednesday night. He stayed in the game but a team spokesman said it stiffened overnight.Omar Infante, Kelly Johnson and Jeff Francoeur each moved up a spot in the lineup with Norton out Thursday. Martin Prado played first and batted eighth against New York.
