--RHP James Parr got the win in his first major league start. LHP Jo-Jo Reyes originally was slated to start, but his wife delivered the couple's first child Wednesday. Reyes was back in the clubhouse Thursday but has done nothing for the last few days, so manager Bobby Cox went with Parr. Reyes will start Sunday against the Nationals.
--SS Yunel Escobar, who aggravated his sore left shoulder Wednesday in Florida, was replaced by INF Omar Infante in the lineup. Infante batted .556 on the latest road trip but went 0-for-4 Thursday.
