--RHP Jair Jurrjens hurled another gem Wednesday, scattering just six hits while walking two and striking out four over 7 2/3 frames, but he could not come up with the win. Jurrjens has allowed just one run in his last two starts, but Atlanta has not scored while Jurrjens has been in the game.
--RF Jeff Francoeur continued his renaissance 2009 campaign by recording a pair of hits Wednesday. Francoeur, who batted a disappointing .239 last season, is hitting .317 (19-for-60) with a homer and 11 RBIs through 15 games this season. --CF Jordan Schafer plays a relatively shallow center field, and with his unfamiliarity with major league ballparks, he's letting a lot of balls bounce in front of him and go over his head. Then when he takes off for the outfield wall, they're caroming back behind him.
