--LHP Tom Glavine's left elbow pain has receded considerably, and he has begun more aggressive upper-body exercises and rotator-cuff exercises that indirectly put stress on the elbow. Glavine was placed on the disabled list June 11. --RHP Rafael Soriano remains in the Dominican Republic attending to personal matters, but assistant general manager Bruce Manno says the team expects his return in a couple of days.
