--INF Martin Prado got the start at third base and batted third in the absence of 3B Chipper Jones. Prado can come right off the bench and hit, a valuable trait in a reserve player, which helped when he replaced 3B Chipper Jones after Jones hyperextended his right elbow Sunday against the Phillies.

--RHP Javier Vazquez finally got enough run support to get a win -- 6-2 over the Phillies on May 9 -- but manager Bobby Cox was not deterred by Vazquez's 2-3 record going into that game. "There's not a pitch I haven't been impressed with," Cox says of Vazquez's repertoire, game plan and delivery.

MEDICAL WATCH:

3B Chipper Jones (sore right elbow) left the May 10 game and did not play May 11, but he hopes to be back May 12.

RHP Jorge Campillo (right shoulder tendinitis) went on the 15-day disabled list April 17. He said he was merely suffering from a dead arm.

LHP Tom Glavine (shoulder and elbow surgeries) went on the 15-day disabled list retroactive to April 1. He had to cut short an April 12 rehab start with Class AA Mississippi with shoulder discomfort, and he was shut down from throwing for two weeks. He threw a bullpen session on May 4.

RHP Tim Hudson (Tommy John surgery on right elbow in August 2008) went on the 60-day disabled list March 4. He is targeting an August return date, barring setbacks.
