--RHP Kris Medlen will be called up from Class AAA Gwinnett to start against the Rockies May 19. That would have been LHP Jo-Jo Reyes' next scheduled start, but Reyes is being shifted to the bullpen for the moment. The Medlen move is not official until Tuesday, and he will pitch an inning or two for Gwinnett on Saturday behind scheduled starter RHP Tommy Hanson, just to stay sharp.

--RHP Javier Vazquez laid down his fourth sacrifice bunt of the season in the second inning and struck out 10, the 39th time in his career he has struck out 10 or more batters.

MEDICAL WATCH:

RHP Jorge Campillo (right shoulder tendinitis) went on the 15-day disabled list April 17. He said he was merely suffering from a dead arm.

LHP Tom Glavine (shoulder and elbow surgeries) went on the 15-day disabled list retroactive to April 1. He had to cut short an April 12 rehab start with Class AA Mississippi with shoulder discomfort, and he was shut down from throwing for two weeks. He threw bullpen sessions May 4-13, and he hopes to be pitching for Atlanta before the end of May.

RHP Tim Hudson (Tommy John surgery on right elbow in August 2008) went on the 60-day disabled list March 4. He is targeting an August return date, barring setbacks.
